HAPPYsthlm

Posted by Tristan Cottrell under Home Improvement World

I heard from the girls at HAPPYsthlm (sthlm is short for Stockholm) earlier this week and didn’t want to wait another moment before spotlighting them here on decor8. HAPPYsthlm was founded in a courtyard studio in Stockholm in ’07 by product designer Katarina Andersson, silversmith Caroline Lindholm and textile designer Kajsa Aronsson. Tog

After graduating from Yale and receiving a Masters in Architecture from the University of Texas, Jim Poteet returned to his hometown of San Antonio, where he opened his office “with the hope of furthering the sustainable revitalization of downtown San Antonio.” The practice has won national recognition for its sensitive adaptive reuse of existing buildings and a fresh, rigorous approach to modern interior design. To see more of the firm’s work, go to Poteet Architects on the Remodelista Architect/Designer Directory.

You made me really glad to be here and I feel so welcome. Yesterday was Valentine’s Day so I thought I’ll share a romantic project for the dinner table that you can try for any celebration in your life really – maybe an upcoming anniversary? My inspiration began with a photo I took a couple of weeks ago of a flower and I liked it so much that I used that as my base to inspire a table setting.

After taking the photo, I uploaded it to my computer and made some edits to it, then I decided to trim the photo and use it as part of the place setting. I mad
