Love the machine/Hate the service

So my brand new Hammer A3 31 jointer/planer combo machine was delivered yesterday. I would like to thank everyone that has posted info on their machine here on the forum. A large part of the reason I bought this machine sight unseen was the great reviews. I have to say the reviews were correct this is a great machine. I put it together, took about 3 hrs, including the carrymaster casters. (Again thanks for the great idea, I love them.) This is a one time buy, it is heavy, well made,and the fit and finish are perfect. I got a couple of extras as advised, the small extension table and the digital handwheel for the planer table.

Corban and his wife, Carla, already owned and lived in the boathouse, but the arrival of their daughter, Caroline, created the need for something grander. Still, the couple wanted to retain much of the boathouse’s original spirit and charm, including the home’s old growth cypress construction materials. When the building project began in 2005, Corban asked the contractor to take apart the old boathouse by hand so the cypress could be used to accent the new home.

“These trees were ancient,” Corban said. “We thought it would be a shame not to reuse it.”

Now, Corban’s high home finds itself among some lofty company.

GRAND RAPIDS — The official start of spring is two days away, even though weve enjoyed spring-like weather for several weeks.

Robins are back, crocuses are blooming and restless gardeners are out turning the soil under sunny skies and early March temperatures that reached all the way into the mid-70s.

Harbingers of spring include brightly colored pansies, spikes of purple lavender and lush carpets of rosemary.
